Granieri's Italian Restaurant

Another great lunch experience at Granieri's in Andrews. The hot Italian sub was loaded with the best meats and cheeses and the lamb gyro with fresh tatziki never disappoints. As always, the sidewinder fries are the best...and you can only get them here!

Lovely old brick building, with a very inviting outdoor covered deck alongside more picnic tables and a creek.Food was very good.My husband got the Cuban, which was done very authentic Tampa style. I got the gyro. Very fresh and tasty.Would highly recommend.

We stopped here on our way to Bryson City. The staff were very friendly, but the restaurant is not very clean. We ordered drinks while we were waiting on our food to be prepared. Everyone that ordered sodas had ants. Hundreds of them, alive and dead in the cups. That was enough for me to never want to visit this place again. It is listed as Italian, however is more of a sandwich shop. They get two stats for their friendliness, but the food is lacking.

Not too bad for small town

We were hungry for Italian food and decided to try Granier's in Andrews. We drove a half hour from Robbinsville. They forgot to put the dressing in the bag, fortunately I noticed before driving back 30 minutes to our hotel. The lasagna was extremely garlicky, took away from the taste. The veal parmesan was very good though. It's mediocre Italian cuisine.

We love the food and atmosphere of this place! Everyone who works there is very friendly and we have a great time just sitting and talking with some good drinks and music. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.

I really liked the place, the food was delicious, was nice inside with Italian setting and pictures of Dean Martin and others, the only thing they needed Italian music. will be back. Ordered linguini with clams. They bring out the olive oil with bread. Cheesecake for dessert. Cannoli to die for!

Excellent Italian restaurant, listened to some excellent live music

Great Italian food in a small town. New York style pizza is great. Outdoor seating is clean and pleasant. Service is excellent with friendly staff always checking on you. Everything on the menu is great.

Server was awesome but spent most of her time coming back to tell us they were out of ingredients needed to make our order....and we came for a pizza but changed order because of an hour wait on it....she had to return 2 more times to tell us they were out of Turkey and potato salad and the beer I requested....this was at 1 PM on a Tuesday....what happens when its busy? And telling me they are out of potato salad that I ordered....but wanted to upcharge me for fries....when it's not my fault? And instead brought me a bag of chips? Also...my sandwich didnt have the toppings listed and bread tasted funny. And since when was a monte Cristo a ham sandwich on French toast with pancake syrup?? My wife orders those all And 67 dollar bill for this kind of food? This place sucks....I feel like reviews are from locals that feel sorry for them.

We stop here every time we get the chance for dinner and the staff and owner are always friendly. If your on vacation or live near here, this is worth the drive. Almost forgot the Pizza on friday nights is out of this world!!!!

Good food, fast and friendly staff, decent price

We ordered a basic Pepperoni Pizza and it was pretty good. Not quite NY Style, but pretty close to that, if that's what you're after.

Pizza was from a pre made Frozen DoughOrdered a vegetable pizza for delivery was soggy and dough un cooked. Inedible. If an Italian Resturant cant make a good pizza from scratch, don't bother. 🍕 is one of the easiest foods to make, if done correctly, using fresh ingredients it can make your resturant really stand out.

Great entertainment from Doctor Paul, and the food was good too.

While the portions we're exceptional, the flavor was extremely lacking. I had the Veal Parmesan. The portion could have fed two. Maybe on my portion they forgot the oregano, basil, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper and something else. Could just be me. The service was good but someone is not Italian

Quick service with some very good food I had the chicken Caesar salad it was better than any I have had in years,very generous portions and reasonable prices. Will go back for more.

Took too long to get to order and the food was not cooked properly

First time visiting this area and decided to try the local Italian. Food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. I liked the various specials that were available and the patio seating was a nice change. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the speed of service. We waited nearly an hour for our food.

An evening of good food with friends at Granieri's. Had a pleasant conversation with the owners and our server Debbie was attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back to try the pizza and Greek salad next time.

I hear that this place is a good place to buy pizzas I am going to buy a pizza one day over there and say how good it is my neighbor told me that just made the best pizza in town

The spaghetti with meatballs is made with real hamburger meat and no breading mixed in with the meat. The chicken alfredo is awesome. It is worth going out of your way to get an excellent meal. The restaurant is also very clean.

Love this place! Awesome Italian food, wonderful folks that make you feel so welcome. Outdoor seating is a plus. We have a new go to place in Andrews, will definitely return many times.

Very good Italian food. The salad dressing was homemade along with the pasta sauces. The owner Kelly and the staff are very friendly would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Andrew's or Murphy NC area

Was not to impressed. They only had one waitress, she was super nice but felt bad she was the only one hustling. Pizza was "ok" waited about 45 min for it and how. Wouldn't want to see how long it would of taken if they were full. We're from Chicago so nothing beats a Chicago style pizza, but this one was definitely blah.

Two subs. Eggplant and a meatball parmesan. Both were delicious and came with a choice of a side dish. We had the potato salad....outstanding!

Great in town restaurant. My family doesn't eat there as often as we should. Every time we go the atmosphere is calm and enjoyable, the food is fantastic, and the people are friendly and hospitable.

An unexpected pleasure! I've been all over the area looking for good Italian food. I'm happy to say the search is over! Everything was excellent! The atmosphere, service, and the food....wonderful flavor! Everything is prepared fresh to order too so no problem adding or removing an item! I can't wait to go back!! They have live music too.

Awesome hand tossed, fresh ingredients PIZZA. Prime Rib melted in my mouth with ridiculous flavor. True Italian, operated by Italian brothers. Live music is the best in town, Aly Jordan, Andrew Chastain, etc. Atmosphere cozy and inviting. Frank and Kelly are an awesome couple making sure you are enjoying every aspect of your evening out. The lunch and breakfast are delicious too. A must dine experience!

Very nice staff! Mozzarella sticks are fresh and delicious!The restaurant was currently out of Light beer due to a busy Thanksgiving week. The owner sent one of her employees to get us some Bud Light and brought me one on the house. Stellar service and she had a small personal pizza made for me and it was delicious. My husbands lasagna was the best he had ever had. For dessert he had a chocolate lava cake that was unreal!! I had fresh chocolate chip Canoli and it was so crazy good. We never expected to get such a delicious meal in Andrews, NC.

Best Greek salad I've had in years and the hot pressed Italian was great as well. Great customer service. Owners are very sweet, hard working people. Support local!!!!
